José Mourinho insisted his Tottenham Hotspur players weren’t happy with a point against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
It turned out to be a close affair between two of the Premier League’s leading teams. Each side canceled each other for the 90 minutes as they finished 0-0.
Timo Werner’s shot in the first half was canceled for offside. Mason Mount came closer to scoring in the second half, as his long-range effort was well saved by Edouard Mendy.

The goalless draw moves Tottenham back to the top of the league. They sit at 21 points, tied with Liverpool after their 1-1 draw on Saturday against Brighton.
Mourinho told Sky Sports, quoted by BBC Sport, after the game he was delighted that his players were not satisfied with a draw:
“The only thing I take out of the game is that a draw here is usually a positive result. Staying at the top of the league with that result is also a good thing.
“My dressing room is not happy. That’s the best I take. We are not happy. It’s fantastic. It is a complete change of mind and personality. We didn’t have many opportunities, but how many did they have? That’s what makes me really happy – we are not happy with a draw at Stamford Bridge.
“The game didn’t have many chances. It is a game in which we both wanted to win. We respect each other. Nobody played. No one tried to change the direction of the game.
“Everyone thought ‘a mistake, they punish us’. They had a shot from afar, we had more in the first half than in the second. I think a great match is difficult for both teams.
Mourinho added that he hopes to welcome fans to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next week against Arsenal:
He continued: “We stay on top. I like the feeling and I think it’s only for 2000 fans, but the feeling of playing the first game with the crowd and being top is a gift for the fans.
“Not just these 2000s, but what they represent: the Tottenham fan universe. We are happy. But I don’t change my mind. If we are a little better today we win. I was there to win. Being at the top is a nice thing. The next game we have to win. “
