Penneys will reopen its stores in Ireland on Tuesday 1S t December with extended business hours at all stores to cater for increased anticipated customer demand ahead of the holiday season and to help safely reduce queues by extending shopping hours for a longer period of time.
Penneys stores located in city centers and in major shopping malls will operate until 10:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and shops on the main streets of Ireland’s cities and in city shopping centers will be listed until 9:00 PM. Penneys stores at Dundrum Town Center and Blanchardstown Center will open at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday 1S t December and trade until closing time on Wednesday 2North Dakota December.
Nothing matters more to Penneys than the safety and well-being of its employees and customers, and in accordance with government guidance, all stores continue to implement extensive security measures. This includes strict social distancing protocols, limits on the number of customers allowed in the store, hand sanitizing stations at the entrance, methacrylate screens or cubicles in the checkout, the use of face masks in the store, and increased cleaning in the store.

All of our extensive security measures remain in place to help ensure that shopping at Penneys is a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Throughout December, Penneys stores will trade at a low of 9:00 p.m. M. Weekdays:
- City center (main streets) the stores will operate until 9:00 p.m.
- Stories: Dun Laoghaire, Wexford, Sligo, Drogheda, Newbridge, Clonmel, Ballina, Killarney.
- Town Mall the stores will operate until 9:00 p.m.
- Stories: Navan, Mullingar, Portlaoise, Ennis, Letterkenny, Galway Shopping Center, Kilkenny, Santry, Artane, Tralee, Castlebar, Longford, Athlone, Dundalk, Carlow
- Until 9:30 pm: Limerick-Dooradoyle.
- Main shopping centers will trade until 10:00 pm:
- Stories: Galway-Eyre Square, Swords, Cork – Wilton, Dundrum, Blanchardstown, Liffey Valley, Nutgrove.
- Midtown shops, most will negotiate until 10:00 pm:
- Stories: Dublin – Mary Street, Limerick – O’Connell Street, Waterford, Cork – Patrick Street, Dublin – O’Connell Street.
24 hour trading: Penneys will open at Dundrum Town Center and Blanchardstown Center starting at 7:00 am on Wednesday 2North Dakota December and trade until closing time on Thursday 3rdrd December.
Penneys security measures in all stores:
We have implemented a strict social distancing protocol in all of our stores:
- We are following local government guidelines and limiting the number of customers allowed in the store at any one time to allow for adequate distance between customers and employees.
- Clear signage and floor decals, as well as dedicated employees and security personnel, to guide customers through the store in a way that limits contact with others.
- We have redesigned the layout of our stores to allow more space between people by reconfiguring our queuing system at our checkout points to allow for social distancing. Dedicated employees will be available when needed to manage the correct flow of the queue.
- The entry and exit points will be clearly marked.
· Frequent tannoy announcements are made in the store to remind customers to adhere to social distancing measures.
We have increased personal protection for employees and customers:
- In accordance with government guidance, all customers are required to wear face covers in our stores, unless exempted for medical reasons.
- Upon entering the store, customers are asked to use the hand sanitizer provided at the store entrance. Dedicated employees will be available to assist clients if necessary.
- We provide face masks to all of our employees and are required to wear them while working.
- Methacrylate screens or cubicles have been installed in boxes to help protect customers and employees.
- We encourage card payments and contactless payments when possible to minimize cash interactions.
- We have designated dedicated employees to manage entrances to stores and throughout the store, when necessary, to ensure social distancing measures are followed.
- Dedicated employees will make sure the hand hygiene stations are full and will report any problems or concerns to the store manager.
We have increased the frequency and intensity of in-store cleaning:
- We have invested significantly in increasing the frequency and rigor of our store cleaning policy in all of our markets, paying particular attention to high-frequency touch points such as checkouts, escalators, elevators, and employee areas at the rear of the store. House.
- We have introduced a basket cleaning system, whereby each basket handle is cleaned before use.
