Jack was born with Osteogenesis Imperfacta, or brittle bone disease, and in March he had to cancel his birthday party due to Covid-19.
It would have been his first party in three years; Like previous invitations to participate in the Toy Show, his surgery meant that he could not have a party in recent years.
After Ruth asked people to mail her cards, she sent her more than 1,000 from as far away as France and Switzerland, as well as Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The family, from Raphoe, County Donegal, is ready for the biggest night of the year.
“We will have our feet up, the fire going, and we will have a box of gifts for the Late Late Toy Show,” Ruth said.
