Jobs in Dublin: Good news as Microsoft creates 200 exciting positions in an investment of 27 million euros

Big news emerges today as Microsoft announced that it will create 200 new highly skilled jobs in Dublin.

The hiring drive follows a € 27 million investment in a new engineering center near its main campus in Leopardstown.

These jobs will bring the total number of companies to 2,700 in Ireland with staff employed both in their offices and in their data centers with 600 engineers employed in Ireland.

New positions include: client software and engineering; program management, product design, user experience and data science.

The lucky candidates will work on the development, implementation and support of cloud services, as well as new technologies.

Speaking in the announcement, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar TD said: “This is great news from Microsoft today. Not only are they creating 200 new jobs, they are also creating a new € 27 million Engineering Center.

“This investment builds on Microsoft’s decades of commitment to Ireland and further strengthens the country’s position as a hub for innovation in Europe.”

Cathriona Hallahan, CEO of Microsoft Ireland, said: “We are delighted to announce the expansion of our team here in Ireland and the enhancement of our Leopardstown campus.
