They refuse to work at night at Gwrych Castle after seeing “shadowy figures” and hearing “horrible noises”.

Scared production staff have even seen faces in the windows in abandoned parts of the historic structure.
Panic threatens to interrupt filming, as the crew insist on moving in groups once the lights go out, which is when much of the action happens.
One insider said: “People thought they saw a figure in one of the windows a couple of nights ago, and that place has been practically off limits ever since.”
Another source stated: “The place is absolutely terrifying at night.
“Several members of the crew are completely terrified and do not want to go up to the castle.
“There are a lot of lights on the main stages, but there are also a lot of dark areas behind the scenes and some noises are extremely eerie.
“Even staff who don’t believe in that kind of thing are reluctant to go up to some parts that were supposed to be used to run equipment and camera positions.
“If people are still scared, the bosses will have to do something to combat it.”
Legend has it that the 19th century house in Abergele in North Wales, without electricity or running water, is haunted by the spirits of its former inhabitants.
Among them are, in particular, Winifred Bamford Hesketh, Countess of Dundonald, who inherited Gwrych from her father in 1894.
The aristocrat was married to the Scottish nobleman Douglas Cochrane, seven years her senior.
But she died of heart failure in 1924 at the age of 64, and her surviving husband did everything he could to destroy the memory of her life.
As a result, it is claimed, he has bitterly patrolled the halls of Gwrych from beyond the grave.
Several sightings have been reported, most famously by Randolph Turpin, Britain’s boxing world champion of the 1940s and 1950s who was using the property as a training ground when he saw a woman crying.
When he spoke to her, she looked at him and was immediately gone.
Mark Baker, Chairman of the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust, said: “The Countess has been seen a lot over the years.
“It is such an atmospheric place, especially at night.
“It is so evocative that it incites the senses. If you have a great imagination, you will begin to walk into the past.”
THE VAPE PRIVILEGE OF CORRIE ICON
CORONATION Street icon Beverley Callard, 63, can vape at the I’m A Celebrity location.
The actress visits a designated area to receive her nicotine fix, as contestants are not allowed to smoke on screen due to Welsh laws on doing so on television.
