The seizure was made after a search, under warrant, was carried out on a house in the Crumlin area of ​​Dublin.

A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being held under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at the Crumlin Garda station.

The seizure was carried out as part of a joint intelligence-led operation carried out by the Revenue Customs Service, the Garda National Office for Drugs and Organized Crime and the Special Crime Task Force.

This operation was part of Revenue’s ongoing joint investigations into organized crime groups and the import, sale and supply of illicit drugs.
