A look back at Cork v Dublin as the Rebels advance to the second round of the All-Ireland Hurling Championship

He’s fierce at the GAA Hurling Championship this year and the season will end for Cork or Dublin at the end of today.

It is only the second game for the Rebels after Waterford knocked them off Munster, while the Dubs come into this after two games having beaten Laois before falling to Kilkenny in a thrilling encounter.

It’s going to be a long way to Croker for the victor, and today is really up for grabs.

Both sides have named their teams and there are some changes to the Leesiders XV.

Colm Spillane is coming in behind his back, while Luke Meade has been designated as the starter in midfield.

Robbie O’Flynn, Jack O’Connor and Dec Dalton are up front.

For the Dubs, who only dropped one point to the Cats last week, the regular heavy hitters are there.

Chris Crummey, Donal Burke and Ronan Hayes have all shown serious form and are expected to cause a lot of trouble today.

They’re also opening up Eamon Dillon, who had two great performances off the bench this season.

The game starts in Semple at 3.45pm.

Hopefully the fact that Cork played Waterford there will help.

As for the odds, he is in his favor with the bookies placing them on 8/15 onwards.
