The unusually mild weather will linger for the next five days before turning colder and much more unstable.
Met Eireann is forecasting potentially very wet and windy weather starting next Thursday.
The forecaster said: “Dry with sunny spells on Thursday, but becoming more unstable from Thursday night through the weekend, with periods of rain and potentially strong winds.”
But until then, except for a cold Wednesday night, the temperatures will be pleasant and mild, although a lot of rain is forecast.
The next two days will be boring with a lot of rain but temperatures well above average.
A forecaster from Met Eireann said: “Dry with periods of sunshine in the north and east this morning, foggy and clearing. Clouds and patchy rain or drizzle in the southwest in the morning will spread north in the afternoon, although most of the eastern half of the country will remain dry with some sunny intervals.
“More persistent rains will move into the southern areas tonight and move north. Higher temperatures 10-14 degrees with light to moderate east breezes.
“Cloudy and hazy, with rains in Connacht and Leinster in the early evening moving north to affect Ulster overnight. Scattered rains will also develop in the southwest.
“Lower temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in Ulster, occurring early in the evening, with overnight temperatures elsewhere generally ranging between 9 and 12 degrees. Slight to moderate southeast winds.
“Tomorrow morning cloudy and hazy, with rain in the Ulster clearing to the north.
“There will be scattered showers in the west and southwest during the day, but more persistent and heavier rains will move towards Munster and south Leinster during the night. Above-average temperatures for the time of year, reaching 12 to 15 degrees, in light to moderate winds from the southeast “.
The forecaster forecasts similar conditions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday before the unstable period.
