A MAN is in ‘serious but stable condition’ in hospital tonight following an ax and knife attack.
Shocking footage showed a gang surrounding one man on the ground while others moved away.

Gardai was called to the scene of the attack around 2pm today at the intersection of Creighton Street and Hanover Street in Dublin.
Video footage captured shouts of “hit him with the ax” and “kill him,” while a man also threw a bicycle at the group in the middle of battles.

Fianna Fail TD Jim O’Callaghan spoke of his horror, saying: “Today there was a brutal attack near Pearse Street between rival drug gangs.
“The local people are traumatized. I will ask gardai to put more resources into protecting the local community from this massacre. “

A garda spokesperson told the Irish Sun: “Gardai attended the scene of an incident that occurred in the Windmill Lane / Creighton Street area of Dublin 2 on 03/11/2020 at approximately 2pm.
“It is reported that an altercation occurred between a group of young people. A man is in serious but stable condition in hospital.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
