So here is the image of the Dupont attempt, which looks like forever ago. It’s 7-7 and we’re back at 15 against 15, but Ireland have been a much better team. Healy has suffered an injury and is receiving treatment.

An absolute mess of a line-out there from Ireland. Great defense of France to stop the Irish maul. The result is a scrum for France and a missed opportunity for Ireland.

Then Anthony Bouthier is trashed for deliberately pushing the ball out of play. The discussion about a possible penalty shootout goes on for a bit, but in the end Barnes decides it’s just a shame for Ireland.

While the French have become a serious team with Fabien Galthié, winning four of his five games in 2020, a veteran of this match is putting his money in Ireland doing the business tonight. Here’s Sean O’Brien from his interview with The42 the present day.

I’d be licking my lips if I were an Irishman going to Paris today, ”says O’Brien. “Not many people think Ireland will get an extra point, but we can do it if we play to our potential and know the people who will drive this. It will be quite an attack from Ireland. “

Rassie Erasmus’s comment about the Irish herd being ‘soft’ is also worth noting. There is a way to respond to those claims.

Good evening and welcome to our live blog for this final game of the 2020 Six Nations Championship between Ireland and France.

With England battling in Rome, Ireland is left with three viable options of winning the tournament, either by clinching an extra points win over France tonight, or by clinching a victory by a seven-point margin.

Better than that, if Ireland win by six points and the point difference is on par with England, the next deciding factor is the attempts scored.

Both Ireland and England have scored 14, so Andy Farrell’s team only needs one try to get away from England.

But if Ireland wins by six points without scoring a try, the Championship will be shared. For their part, France could also win the championship if they get a victory with extra points and defeat Ireland by 31 points or more.

The start is at 8:05 pm, so turn on the kettle, put your feet up and settle in.
