The Gardaí seized four firearms and cocaine worth 18,000 euros last night in Dublin.
They were found during the search of a house and two cars in an urbanization of Finglas.
Gardaí found a pistol, ammunition and 18,000 euros of alleged cocaine, which was divided and bagged in small quantities, in one of the cars.
Upon searching the second car, a sawed-off Browning shotgun, a SAKO rifle, a 22 rifle scoped, and ammunition were found.
The firearms have been sent to the Ballistics Unit for analysis and both vehicles have been seized by Gardaí for further technical examination.
The search was carried out after receiving intelligence information related to an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in the Finglas area.
