The bodies of a woman and two children were discovered in a home in Dublin this morning.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí is currently at the scene of an incident on a residential property in South Dublin where the bodies of two children and one adult were discovered.
“No further information is available at this time.”
Children are understood to be a boy and a girl between the ages of six and 11.
The scene at Ballinteer is currently preserved by the state pathologist.
