Janet’s sister confirmed the news on social media saying she couldn’t believe her older brother was taken from her.
She said, “I can’t accept this. Whoever hurt and took my sister from me will pay for this. My older sister, I love you so much and I can’t believe this. Rest in peace, Janet.
Another close friend added: “RIP Janet. I was just talking to you and you left here to improve yourself and your babies. It’s a cruel world, take care of your children, your family and your friends.”
A third said, “How sad Rip Janet. I hope you get the best bed in heaven.”
On Friday, the body of a man in his 40s was found near the IFSC with Gardai still investigating “all the circumstances” surrounding his death.
Inner City Helping Homeless (ICHH) CEO Anthony Flynn said he was “completely saddened” by the second death on our streets in the last week.
He said: “A young woman died, alone in a tent on Saturday. And not a whisper about it.”
He added: “How many people have actually died in homeless services this year?
“How loud do we have to scream, how many more have to die?”
A Garda spokeswoman confirmed the tragic death to Dublin Live.
She said: “The body of a woman in her 30s was located in Lynch’s Lane, Clondalkin in the early hours of October 24, 2020.
