PAUL POGBA has denied claims that he plans to leave international soccer.
The Manchester United star is alleged to have made the decision following comments from his country’s leader on Friday.
Several Middle Eastern news sources made the claims.
However, neither the 27-year-old nor the French Football Association commented on the speculation.
The reports came in the wake of the beheading of 47-year-old Professor Samuel Paty, who was attacked as he was returning home from the high school where he taught in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, 40 kilometers northwest of Paris.

Paty was awarded the French Legion of Honor, the highest decoration awarded by the French state, in recognition of the fact that she died trying to explain the importance of freedom of expression.
President Emmanuel Macron described the killing as an ‘Islamic terrorist attack’ that claimed the life of the French teacher.
Later he added: “Unity and firmness are the only answers to the monstrosity of Islamist terrorism.”
Calls have grown around the world for people to boycott French products in the wake of comments by the president accusing Muslims of separatism and vowing not to give up cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad.
Pogba made his international debut in 2013 and then lifted the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
He has won 72 international matches and scored ten goals for Les Bleus.
Fance’s most recent match was a 2-1 away win against Croatia, in which Pogba came off the bench.
The next international break is next month, with the reigning world champions having three matches, against Finland, Portugal and Sweden.
