Strictly Come Dancing fans were incredibly confused tonight after they appeared to see AJ Pritchard’s brother Curtis at the group dance.
The 25-year-old professional left the BBC show last year after four years on the show to pursue a career in presenting.
So fans were very surprised after apparently seeing his brother Curtis, who previously appeared on the Irish version of the show, at the intro dance.
All of the professional dancers had been performing with Shakira’s Hips Don’t Lie to kick off the first live show.
But viewers were confused after seeing ‘Curtis’ among the team and took to Twitter to comment.
Coronation Street actress Sally Ann Matthews wrote: “Is that Curtis? X #strictly. ”
While another commented, “I thought the new pro in blue was Curtis Pritchard for a minute and I was so confused #Strictly. ”
A third wrote, “Is that Curtis Pritchard I just saw dancing? #Strictly. ”
“How did Curtis make his way into the group? #Strictly come dance#strictly“asked another.
One tweeted: “That was Curtis Prichard on the strictly pro set, right? #Strictly. ”
Another commented, “That Curtis in the dark blue shirt ?! # Strictly.”
In fact, it turned out that the professional dancer looked like Curtis, but was not actually him. Maybe next year!
