England will face the Republic of Ireland at Wembley on November 12 after New Zealand withdrew from the originally scheduled match.
Gareth Southgate’s team will meet the Republic before their last two UEFA Nations League Group A2 matches in Belgium on November 15 and at home to Iceland on November 18.
New Zealand pulled out of the match planned for next month earlier this month due to travel complications and player availability caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
It will be the Republic’s first trip to Wembley since 2013, when the match ended 1-1 and a first meeting since the countries’ goalless draw in Dublin in June 2015.
Stephen Kenny’s team will enter the game with some tough results. After losing the Euro 2020 play-off to Slovakia on penalties, they drew 0-0 with Wales before losing 1-0 in Finland. Kenny has yet to win in five games since he replaced Mick McCarthy as coach.
England enters the match after defeat also after their 1-0 home defeat to Denmark, the result followed by victories over Wales and Belgium.
