Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has beaten Thierry Henry and Wayne Rooney to set a new Premier League record.

The Tottenham and England captain has enjoyed a fantastic start to the 2020/21 Premier League season. Alongside Son Heung-Min, Kane has been firing full blast in the Spurs attack.

Before Sunday’s game with West Ham, Spurs had scored 12 goals in their first four Premier League games.

Kane has made a big impact on that, providing three goals and six assists in just four league games.

The forward continued this form in Tottenham’s London derby against West Ham. Kane readied Son once more to open the scoring before a minute had been played.

A short time later, he himself had scored two goals that Son and Sergio Reguilón had scored for him. This brings his tally for the season to five goals and seven assists in five games.

This form has seen him break Premier League records, as revealed objective. He is now only the third player to have been involved in ten or more goals in the first five league games of the season.

His count of 12 also breaks the records set by Wayne Rooney in 2011/12 for Manchester United and Thierry Henry in 2004/05 for Arsenal.
