Comedian Dara O’Briain left Late Late Show viewers with stitches on Friday as he detailed his new ‘Level 6’ lockdown plan.
The Irishman outlined on a blackboard his plans to bring the country to an even higher level than the level five discussed last week.
Speaking with the audience and with Ryan Tubridy, he outlined what exactly this level 6 document would tell people to do.
The level would also be spoken in Irish according to Dara; “The coronavirus does not speak Irish.”
The first step in the plan is “no breathing” and people are asked to look away from others when they speak to them.
For the second step, weddings were on the agenda and Dara’s advice was “gay weddings only”.
The third step was on food, “safe food” is just the advice of “none of the fancy things” that people eat today.
The remaining three items were on pubs, travel, and masks; you can see the full clip in the tweet above or in the RTE player.
Fans loved the sketch and praised the comedian for brightening their night when most of the news is pessimistic.
Dara himself tweeted: “Thanks to everyone who enjoyed that nonsense on the Late Late Show. Everyone is keeping up well, and hopefully they won’t be at any of the levels for long.”
