The Cork City Fire Brigade responded to a chemical fire in the Carrigtwohill area tonight.
Teams from Ballyvolane and Anglesea Street and teams from Midleton and Cobh initially attended the scene at Carrigtwohill Business and Technology Park to deal with the fire shortly before 4 p.m.
A total of 10 fire trucks originally responded and five remain on site to deal with the ongoing fire.
An Garda Síochána will also be present.
