A lucky Irish gambler won half a million euros tonight in EuroMillions Plus.
However, there were no winners of the staggering € 17 million jackpot in the main draw.
Lottery bosses confirmed tonight that a Roscommon player took home the € 500,000 jackpot in EuroMillions Plus.
The winning numbers were 05, 29, 35, 40 and 50.
And although the jackpot was not won in the main draw, more than 39,000 players in Ireland won prizes, including a Match 5 + Lucky Star prize winner of € 165,113.
The winning numbers in that drawing were 04, 21, 36, 41 and 47, with two lucky stars of 09 and 11.
