The strangest piece of television we’ve ever seen.
It is clear that Patrice Evra loves Manchester United, and the man is absolutely in pieces with what is happening at the club right now. His performance at Old Trafford tonight was nothing short of a disgrace.
In the studio after the game, the Frenchman was on the verge of tears. When asked about his feelings after the game, he said he wanted Sky Sports to let him go so he wouldn’t have to analyze Manchester United games.
Watch this.
“I would really like to end my contract with Sky, I know you have to have some filter when you speak on television.” 😳

Alexis Sánchez commented that when he signed for Manchester United, after his first training session, he asked his agent to liquidate his contract.
That’s why I’m going to ask Sky that I want to end my contract with Sky. This is my second game, I am a positive person and I never want to talk about United because when you tell the truth it can hurt. I am passionate and I love my club.
I know you have to have some filter when you speak on television, but it is a disaster.
Gary Neville, I heard you say Captain Harry Maguire needs a vacation or a break. We’re always talking about pairing him up with someone, but what about getting him off the team?
I don’t want to start criticizing the players, because I’ve been there. I have made many comments on the board, but tonight no one can have excuses. they disappointed all United fans.
Every year is the same story. Now I feel what all United fans feel, which is why I would rather play a different game than United if I continue to work for Sky …
I am very excited right now. It’s hard to break a man like me because I’m a positive person. I don’t promote violence, but a lot of people need a good slap right now at this club.
Patrice Evra asking Sky Sports to let him go so he doesn’t have to analyze Manchester United games may be the strangest piece of television we’ve ever seen 😬 #MUNTOT

Evra would go on to say that some players in the Manchester United locker room “need a slap” – a great statement from a man who said he never tolerates violence.
Big changes are needed at Old Trafford. They will probably have to come in the form of changing players, management and the board.
It’s going to take some time, and Patrice Evra is likely to have a few more sleepless nights ahead of him before the club experiences more success.
