The 49-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge was horrified when he returned home from the lavish £ 1 million party to find three-year-old Lexi alone.
Speaking at Sunday Brunch, Amanda recounted how she returned early the next morning and her babysitter had left because she thought she had already returned.
Scary: Amanda Holden, 49, has revealed that her former babysitter left her daughter Lexi home alone while she was partying at Simon Cowell’s 50th birthday party.
She said: ‘It was about 10 years ago now … [Simon’s] Going up. We stayed there all night, and in the morning when we got home, the woman who was taking care of our children thought we had come home and gone.
‘It was seven in the morning and we entered the house and no one was taking care of our children.
She added: ‘Can you imagine? She was fired, I can tell. It was a great party, with a horrible ending. ‘
Amanda, who is also the mother of eight-year-old Hollie, said Lexi, now 14, was “fine, obviously,” but said finding her home alone was “the scariest thing in her life.”

It comes after fans of Britain’s Got Talent were left in shock when Amanda appeared in another sassy ensemble during Saturday’s show.
The TV judge made sure all eyes were on her once again as she filmed the fifth semi-final in a striking dress and a bold black lace bodice.
Amanda’s sassy dress on last week’s show sparked 235 complaints from Ofcom and led viewers to wonder if she had suffered a wardrobe malfunction.
Choosing not to let the controversy affect her fashion choices, Amanda boldly walked out in a dress with a dangerously high leg slit that showed off her sensational figure.
Not Happy: Speaking at Sunday Brunch, Amanda recounted how she got home early the next morning and her babysitter had left because she thought she was already back.
The dress had a sweetheart neckline, while Amanda added height to her body with a pair of open black heels.
Shocked by Amanda’s chosen outfit for the show, some viewers took to Twitter to complain about how inappropriate they thought it was.
One fan said, ‘When has it become acceptable to show your underwear on an Amanda Holden family show?’
While another complained: ‘Does anyone else think that a large part of Amanda’s dress is missing …? Don’t you realize that children watch this show?
Relieved: Amanda, who is also the mother of eight-year-old Hollie, said Lexi, now 14, was ‘fine, obviously’ but said finding her home alone was ‘the scariest thing in her life’
On Friday, Amanda laughed at last week’s dress drama while speaking exclusively to MailOnline, joking that her breasts need their ‘own representation’.
Discussing the recent furor over her outfit on Saturday’s show and the 235 Ofcom complaints she’s received, Amanda said she has used her “sense of humor” to deal with the backlash.
She joked: ‘I’m seriously thinking that my girls need a separate representation for me, because they are known for themselves. They don’t need me, they’ll go off and do the Piers Morgan life stories on their own next year!
“They’re going to make their own album, they’re putting out their own autobiography: The Truth Behind The Bra!”
Brave: The BGT judge surprised fans on Saturday night’s show when she came out in a sassy outfit after prompting 235 complaints from Ofcom about her outfit the week before.
