An area of Donegal has the worst Covid incidence rate in Ireland in the past two weeks, according to the most recent data.
HPSC today updated its local constituency map showing that Lifford / Stranorlar has by far the worst rate in the country.
An incidence of 602.6 per 100,000 during the last 14 days to Monday makes it by far the worst in the country.
Celbridge in Kildare follows at 305.2 with Kimmage-Rathmines at 282.8 the worst areas in the entire country.
Many areas of Dublin remain well above a rate of 100, with rural areas such as the town of Monaghan and Bray West in Wicklow as well.
The figures were released on the same day 424 new cases with four more deaths were confirmed.
The big leap has led NPHET to recommend three more restrictions across the country.
