Dublin’s M1 motorway has been closed to northbound traffic as emergency services respond to a serious collision.
Traffic is being diverted along the old Swords Beltway, with the M1 closed heading north between J3 Swords and J4 Donabate.
The collision blocks the left and middle lanes.
Delays are reported from Dublin’s J2 Airport to the J3 Swords, and anyone heading in that direction is advised to avoid the route if they can.
AA Roadwatch says: “The northbound M1 is now closed between J3 Swords and J4 Donabate as emergency services face a serious collision. Traffic will be diverted along the old Swords Bypass. As a result, traffic it’s intense from Dublin airport J2 to J3 “.
