UNITED TO MAKE SANCHO’S FINAL OFFER
With 12 days remaining in the transfer window, Ed Woodward is reported to have put together a last and best offer to present Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho.

Mirror claims Manchester United will submit an offer that could bring Dortmund £ 90 million. The Red Devils are set to shell out £ 75 million upfront for the 20-year-old and another £ 15 million in add-ons.

Dortmund has been adamant that Sancho will only leave for £ 108 million but apparently Woodward will tell them that “there will be no negotiations on the rate or the structure of the deal” because United feels its offer is “generous” in the current climate.

The story also goes that Woodward “is convinced that he can avoid endless conversations” with an “incisive” offer.

Yes, you really dodged that bullet, Ed.

TELLES PRICE TUMBLES
If the newspapers are to be believed, Woodward has already lowered the sale price of Porto for Alex Telles.

At the beginning of the week was claimed that the Portuguese giants were asking for around £ 36 million for the left-back, but that United were only willing to pay around £ 23 million as the 27-year-old is a year away from being a free agent.

The Guardian says Porto has lowered its valuation to around £ 18.3 million, but Woodward will not pay it. It is said that United now wants a £ 12 million deal and they believe Porto will give in as the deadline approaches.

SKIPPER ARSENAL EYE CHELSEA
With the Arsenal search for Houssem Aouar Y Thomas Partey Seemingly leading nowhere, the Gunners are willing to run down what appears to be another dead end as they seek to strengthen the center of their midfield.

Sky sports says Arsenal are interested in Jorginho, although convincing Chelsea to make a deal can be as complicated as the negotiations they have had with Lyon and Atletico Madrid.

Jorginho has started Chelsea’s two Premier League games so far this season as captain of Frank Lampard. Mikel Arteta was on Manchester City’s staff when Pep Guardiola thought he had landed the Italian midfielder in 2018, but Chelsea surpassed City at the post, paying Napoli around £ 50 million.

Given Jorginho’s status in Lampard’s team, the chances of Arsenal finding common ground with Chelsea for a fee seem slim.

GUNNERS STAR KEY TO PARTY PLANS
Fortunately, Arteta’s Partey plans are not completely ruined yet.

Sky sports says Atlético is talking to Arsenal about a possible deal for Lucas Torreira, which could help to unblock the Partey deadlock.

Atlético want to take Torreira on loan, but Arsenal would prefer to sell the Uruguayan midfielder directly, or at least include an obligation for the Spanish to buy into any initial loan deal.

Atlético’s interest is complicated a bit by Torino’s willingness to pay for Torreira, while Fiorentina is also sniffing.
