Met Éireann has issued two Status Yellow warnings for wind and rain.

The wind watch is for Clare, Cork and Kerry, and conditions will deteriorate overnight and tomorrow morning.

Southerly winds turning from west to northwest are expected to reach average speeds of 55-65 km / h at times, with gusts of 90-110 km / h, strongest in coastal areas and in exposed hills and mountains where winds may temporarily exceed these thresholds.

The forecaster said that given the time of year with many trees in full leaf, there is a greater potential for wind-related impacts.

The warning is valid from 11 o’clock tonight until noon tomorrow.

Meanwhile, a yellow status rain warning was issued for Dublin, Louth, Wicklow and Meath.

Met Éireann has forecast heavy downpours overnight and tomorrow morning that can result in flooding of rivers and places.

This alert will go into effect tomorrow at 1 a.m. M. At 2 p. M.
