A woman and her three children had to jump to safety from the top floor of their home in Drogheda after a fire broke out last night.

All three are believed to be unharmed but shocked by their experience.

Firefighters were called after flames were seen coming out of the townhouse door in St Laurence’s Park around 9.45pm

The Drogheda Fire Service had two firefighters on site and put out the fire.

The family is believed to have moved in last month.

The flames were first seen coming from the front door, which is on the side of the three-room house, and when neighbors rushed to see if they could help, they saw the woman and the three children jumping from a window in the house. first floor room.

“You panic when you see the flames,” said one onlooker.

An ambulance also responded and paramedics checked everyone; it is understood that none were seriously injured.
