One more person has died from Covid-19 in Ireland, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths in the country to 1,784.
A further 255 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed, bringing the total number of cases to 30,985.
Of the cases reported today, 129 are men and 123 women, while 68% are under 45 years of age.
The nationwide breakdown of cases is: 156 in Dublin, 22 in Waterford, 13 in Donegal, 11 in Wicklow, nine in Limerick, eight in Kildare, five in Clare and the remaining 31 cases are in Carlow, Cork, Galway, Kerry. , Laois, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Offaly, Tipperary, Westmeath and Wexford.
The number of people receiving treatment for Covid-19 in hospitals across the country remains relatively stable.
The latest figures from the Health Service Executive show that at 11 am, 54 patients were receiving treatment, compared to 52 at the same time yesterday.
Of that number, ten people were in intensive care units, up from nine yesterday.
During the night, there were 89 suspected cases of Covid-19 in hospitals, of which eight were in the ICU.
In Northern Ireland, 87 new coronavirus cases have been reported from tests on 4,191 people, bringing the cumulative total to 8,314.
Today no more deaths have been reported.
There are 17 patients with confirmed Covid-19 cases in Northern Ireland hospitals, and one of these patients is in the ICU.

Ireland’s 14-day incidence of Covid-19 per 100,000 has increased slightly and now stands at 41.0.
Spain continues to be the country with the highest incidence in 14 days per 100,000 with 270.7, followed by France with 151.3.
The UK figure is 48.6.
