Galway Mountain Rescue volunteers have located a hiker who disappeared in the 12 Bens Range today.
The hiker was found to be uninjured and an evacuation is now underway.

Rescue volunteers are searching for a missing hiker in Connemara in County Galway tonight, as bad weather approaches.
He understood that the mountaineer was having trouble moving up the Glencoughan Horseshoe in the 12 Bens range due to poor conditions and poor visibility.
Gardaí called Galway Mountain Rescue just before four in the afternoon.
The volunteers are now going up the hill looking to make contact with the hiker.
