England’s youngsters Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden could face disciplinary action after video footage surfaced of them allegedly inviting women into their rooms after Saturday’s Nations League win against Iceland in Reykjavik.

The images surfaced on Icelandic outlet DV after the girls shared videos on Snapchat on Sunday.

Like the entire England team, Greenwood and Foden, who made their senior international debut in a 1-0 win, were subject to strict Covid-19 health protocols to avoid quarantine rules.

These included not meeting anyone outside of the England team and staff during the team’s stay in Iceland.
England will face Denmark on Tuesday and coach Gareth Southgate is expected to speak about Greenwood and Foden’s apparent lack of discipline at a press conference on Monday. Both face being ruled out for Tuesday’s clash.

Reuters reached out to the English FA for comment, but had not yet responded.

It is the latest off-field incident involving an England player in recent weeks, after a Greek court gave Harry Maguire a suspended prison sentence after he was charged with various charges following an alleged fight during a family vacation. on the island of Mykonos.
