Gardai asks for help after a 3-year-old boy disappeared from the hotel in Co Cork while the mother urged to contact the police

GARDAI has asked the public for help in locating a young child who has been missing for three days.

Sebastian Cykov, 3, was last seen around 11.30am last Thursday at the Maldron Hotel, South Mall in Co Cork.

Police believe that the young man is in the company of his mother, Monica Balazova.

Gardai has appealed directly to Balazova, 31, to “get in touch urgently.”

They are also asking that anyone with information contact them.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai is seeking the public’s help in tracking down the whereabouts of 3-year-old Sebastian Cykov, who was last seen at approximately 11:30 am on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Hotel Maldron, South Mall, County Cork.

“A Garda Síochána believes that Sebastián is in the company of his mother, Monika Balazova (31 years old).

“A Garda Síochána has no knowledge of Sebastian’s whereabouts at this time.

“Gardaí is asking anyone with information about Sebastian’s whereabouts to contact the Garda station on Anglesea Street at 021 4522 000, the confidential Garda line at 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

“Gardaí is also asking Sebastián’s mother, Monika Balazova, to urgently contact An Garda Síochána.”
