Quotation corner

Leinster coach Leo Cullen: “Over the past few seasons, I’ve heard various Munster players interviewed, particularly some of the guys who have been around for a while like Peter O’Mahony, Conor Murray, Keith Earls and Billy Holland, and their desperation for silverware … .so, I’ve heard what it means to them.

“It clearly means a lot to them.

“We know that we are going to find a team that is very motivated, as expected, in a semifinal stage.

“So we have to understand what we will face.

“But it’s also about making sure we focus on ourselves to deliver a really good performance at Leinster, because that’s ultimately what we’re in control of.

“Where will it be located? We will wait and see. But we are certainly waiting for it to be up there, for sure.”

Munster coach Johann van Graan said: “The challenge of facing Leinster at Aviva is huge, but it is a great opportunity for us on Friday night.

“We have prepared as best we could and we are looking forward to the game.

“We want as much continuity as possible, it’s great to be able to select the same bottom line three weekends in a row.

“We have a quality squad and that means a lot of competition in all positions.

“Everybody just wants a chance to play and we are excited for Friday night.”
