Robert Pattinson has tested positive for Covid-19, reports say.
Filming for his new role in The Batman, in which he plays the titular superhero, had to stop only days after it resumed.
Filming was suspended amid the coronavirus but recently resumed outside of London.
Now, the main star has caught the bug and has brought production to a standstill, Vanity Fair reports.
While Warner Bros would not comment on anyone’s health when approached by the post, the company shared a statement that read: “A member of The batman The production has tested positive for Covid-19 and is being isolated according to established protocols.

“Filming is temporarily on hold.”

Achieving household name status as the haunting vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight film series, actor Robert has an esteemed career.
His role as Bruce Wayne and his crime-fighting, night-creeping alter ego marks a return to bigger Blockbuster-style movies after a series of more artistic and smaller-scale films.
The Batman also stars Andy Serkis as Alfred, Bruce’s butler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farell as the famous gangster The Penguin, and Paul Dano as the question mark-obsessed Riddler.
Jeffrey Wright also co-stars in the role of Commissioner Gordon, while John Turturro takes on the role of a crime boss.

The film is directed by Matt Reeves, known for his work on the Planet of the Apes franchise.
“It’s a criminological experiment,” he enthused about his film, “he’s trying to figure out what he can do to finally change this place.”
“You see that it is recording what it is doing, and it is seeing that it is not yet having the effect that it wants to have.”

He added: “The murders start to happen, and the murders begin to describe Gotham’s history.
“It just reinforces what he knows about Gotham, but it opens up a whole world of corruption that went way beyond that.”
A trailer drove fans wild in anticipation of its 2021 release date.
