Met Eireann is predicting that the Mercury is set to burst into the low 20s at the start of next week while Accuweather say we’re going to be hit by a ‘heatwave’.

Popular weather app Accuweather reckons Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will see temperatures leap into the low twenties across the country.

And the National Forecaster says that Tuesday and Wednesday will be exceptionally warm with temperatures in the mid-teen and low 20s on both days.

Looking to today though and Friday will be a cloudier day overall, although a few bright or sunny spells will still occur.
