RYANAIR has announced plans to return to 40 percent of normal flight schedules starting July 1.
This depends on government restrictions on flights between EU countries that are lifted and the installation of public health measures at airports.
Ryanair will operate a daily flight schedule of nearly 1,000 flights, restoring 90 percent of its pre-Covid-19 route network.

The new measures include passengers wearing masks at all times, as well as taking their own temperature before flying due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Since the Covid-19 flight restrictions in mid-March, Ryanair has been operating a daily skeleton schedule of 30 flights between Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Starting in July, Ryanair will restart flight from most of its 80 bases across Europe.
There will be fewer daily / weekly frequencies on trunk routes, as Ryanair works to restore some services on the largest number of routes, rather than operating high-frequency services on a small number.
The low-budget airline’s travel update comes despite Ryanair announcing plans to cut up to 3,000 jobs, also starting in July.
Ryanair chief Michael O’Leary also warned that the airline will not operate if necessary to keep the center seat empty.
BEFORE FLYING
Before flying, travelers should register online, download their boarding pass to their phone, and choose Priority if possible.
They are also asked to check their temperature before traveling. You can check it again at the airport and if it is warm you will not be able to fly.
Flyers are now asked to wear a face mask at all times at the airport and on their flight.
IN THE AIRPORT
At the airport, it is recommended to use hand sanitizer or hand wash when passing through the airport, as well as keeping your distance from other passengers if possible.
Passengers are asked to use the automated kiosk if they are checking a bag and use Fast Track to limit their waiting time in security.
When I board the flight
Customers are asked not to queue at the boarding gates as priority passengers will be boarded first.
Have your passports ready and scan your boarding pass to limit contact with others.
Keep the mask on throughout the flight.
DURING FLIGHT
All aircraft are professionally disinfected every day and this is effective for more than 24 hours.
The aircraft contains a high standard air filtration system that operates at hospital capacity.
There will be a limited in-flight service that will only accept card payments to limit contact with others.
Queuing is not permitted to go to the bathroom and passengers must remain seated at all times.
Travelers are asked to keep their face mask on until they have exited the airport terminal and to continue social distancing as they pass through the airport.
GREEK VACATION
Meanwhile, Greece hopes to welcome tourists starting June 1, provided the airlines operate flights.
Athens has maintained strict control over the coronavirus with only 2,716 cases and 151 deaths.
The Interior Ministry said that reopening to tourism would be in three stages.
Travel to the islands was prohibited and the first phase will be for the return of people who own tourist businesses.
Next Monday the workers will be able to travel there.
If all goes well, access to the islands will be free from June 1.
Direct commercial flights can be restarted on Saturday.
TRIP TO FRANCE
The French government has not given an official date for the return of the tourists.
The country closed on March 19 and has began to lift its closing restrictions.
This does not include international tourists, and most of the country faces strict measures until at least July.
The borders remain closed to any nonessential traveler, while some fear it could be 2021 before tourism returns.
