ANALYSIS of the mobile phone data showed that a controversial bat-studying lab in the Chinese city of Wuhan closed in October, it was claimed Saturday night.

It was said that the US intelligence agencies. USA And the UK was examining the report, which adds weight to the theory that the coronavirus accidentally escaped from the laboratory after leaping from bats to humans.

The data report, obtained by NBC News in London, said there was no phone activity in a high-security part of the Wuhan Institute of Virology from October 7 to 24, 2019.

It indicates that there may have been a “dangerous event” sometime between October 6 and 11.

It offers no direct evidence of a shutdown, nor any proof of the theory that the virus accidentally emerged from the lab.

If there was such a shutdown, it could be seen as evidence alluded to by Trump administration officials that the new coronavirus spread from bats to humans in the laboratory.

Many scientists are skeptical, arguing that the most likely explanation is that the virus was transmitted to humans through animals at a Wuhan live produce market.

The World Health Organization said on Friday that it believed the “wet” market played a role in the spread of the disease.

The first case of the virus in China dates back to November 17, but researchers begin to question it, given that a case in France was documented in December.

The document says its analysis suggests the pandemic started “earlier than initially reported” and “supports the launch of Covid-19 at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

United States President Donald Trump previously said he had seen evidence that gives him “a high degree of confidence” that the virus accidentally emerged from a laboratory.

US intelligence officials say they have not come to that conclusion and that they lack solid evidence to support it.
