A further 18 people have died and 219 more have been confirmed to have coronavirus in Ireland today.
There have now been 22,760 cases of the virus confirmed in Ireland with 1,446 sadly dying from the deadly disease.
The Department of Health confirmed the news in a press release this evening with no briefings held at weekends.
With that there was no comment from Dr Tony Holohan or any of the other experts.
