The winning ticket to last night’s EuroMillions Plus raffle was sold in Walkinstown, Dublin.
A lucky gambler was very lucky to lock out today after waking up to a staggering € 500,000 win, Dublin Live reports.
The National Lottery is now urging all of its South Dublin players to check their tickets to see if they were the first place winners of the Plus draw on Friday night.
The Normal Game winning ticket, numbered 05, 08, 24, 30 and 35, was sold on the day of the draw at the SuperValu store in Walkinstown.
And while the € 67 million EuroMillion jackpot was won by one lucky player in the UK, there were also 47,000 winners in Ireland.
These included two winners, another Dub also involved, of the € 16,606 Match 5 award whose winning entries were sold at the Spar store in Village Green in Tallaght and Lynch’s Foodstore in Tullyallen, Co Louth.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We encourage all of our EuroMillions players who purchased a ticket for the Friday night drawing to review their tickets carefully.
“If you are one of the lucky winners of any of the grand prizes from the night before, sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team at 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and We will make arrangements for you to collect your award when it is safe to do so. ”
