Martin said the government wanted to keep up the pressure by withholding level 5 restrictions to reduce the virus to the lowest level possible.

“We intend to keep the pressure on the virus to be able to open in December and in the months of January, February and March. Hopefully a vaccine will arrive towards the end of the year that gives people some hope, ”he said.

4,160 cases have been confirmed in the North last week, with 407 people currently in hospital treatment for the virus, of which 49 are being treated in Intensive Care Units (ICU)
