The presidency appears to be drifting away from Donald Trump as he fell dramatically behind Joe Biden in Pennsylvania and Georgia.
Biden outpointed Trump by 5,587 votes in Pennsylvania in a staggering increase that puts the Democrat on the path to a comprehensive victory and paves the way for him to beat Trump’s 306-vote Electoral College victory in 2016.
And in the key state of Georgia, Biden edged out Trump by 917 votes.
If that happened, Biden would have enough Electoral College votes for the news and television networks to begin calling elections in his favor, and he would no longer be dependent on close races in Arizona and Nevada.
Last night, a desperate President Trump accused Democrats of holding a “fraudulent” election with “illegal” votes.
In a remarkable speech, a tired-looking Trump said Democrats were trying to “steal” the White House race before stating that “if legal votes are counted, I won easily.”
