We already knew it The future Apple iPhone 12 could send without white wired headphones we are used to seeing in the box with all new iPhones. But now it looks like the iPhone 12 will also arrive without a power adapter.

Leading analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who predicted last month that the iPhone 12 would arrive without wired EarPods, now adds that he expects the power adapter to be sold separately as well, according to a report by 9to5Mac on Sunday.

Kuo, who could not be reached for comment, says removing the accessories in the box helps offset the cost of the iPhone 12’s 5G network components, according to the report. That would help Apple sell iPhone 12 for a price similar to iPhone 11.

9to5Mac adds that leaving the headphones and the power adapter could also reduce the size of the packaging, helping to reduce freight costs.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Kuo’s prediction. And while he hasn’t confirmed the names of his upcoming phones or the time of their release either, we’re expecting them sometime this fall.
