IOWA
(KWWL) – There were 206 new and confirmed cases from 10 am Tuesday to 10 am Wednesday, according to the state board, which brings the total number of cases in the state to 36,036.
The state website says that of the 36,036 people who tested positive, 27,102 recovered. This is 203 more recoveries than the state reported Monday.
Four additional deaths were reported within this time frame, leaving the state’s death toll at 759.
There were 30 patients hospitalized in Iowa in the past 24 hours, compared with 28 yesterday. The total number of hospitalizations is 190. Of those hospitalizations, 62 are in the ICU and 35 are on ventilators.
In Iowa, 3,466 new tests were performed for a total of more than 384,765 that were analyzed for COVID-19.
BLACK HAWK COUNTY
the Black Hawk County COVID-19 Dashboard It has not been updated since 10 am on Tuesday. As of 10 am Tuesday, there are a total of 3,132 reported cases. Total county recoveries are at 1,898. No additional deaths were reported in the county, leaving a total of 59 deaths.
LINN COUNTY
According to the Linn County Dashboard COVID-19 At 10 am Wednesday, there were 24 additional cases in the county, leaving a total of 14,452 cases reported. There were also 17 additional recoveries, leaving a total of 1,233. There have been no more COVID-19 related deaths in the county, leaving a total of 84 deaths. There are 9 current hospitalizations in the county.
JOHNSON COUNTY
According to the state dashboard At 10 am Wednesday, there are 15 new positive cases reported in Johnson County, for a total of 1,507 cases reported. There are 24 more reported recoveries for a total of 898. A total of 18,934 have been tested. There have been no additional COVID-19 related deaths in the county, for a total of 8.
DUBUQUE COUNTY
According to the state dashboard At 10 am Wednesday, there are 16 new positive cases reported in Dubuque County for a total of 1,027 reported cases. There were five additional recoveries, reported for a total of 441. A total of 15,689 people have been evaluated. There were no additional COVID-19-related deaths in the county, for a total of 23.
