Apple Play has released iOS 14 Beta 7 to developers today as we move closer and closer to release to the public this fall. IOS 14 Beta 7 includes a significant change to the stock and wallp wrapper collection: Adding a new Dark Mode option to popular rainbow striped wallpapers.
Before iOS 14 Beta 7, rainbow striped wallpapers were available with background color arrays, but there was no dark mode option. For example, if you choose rainbow striped wallpapers with a green background, your iPhone will have a green background even if it goes into dark mode.
Today’s update makes a significant difference to the process. With iOS 14 Beta 7, your iPhone will now switch between the colorful background version of the rainbow and the wallpapers and the black background version. When your iPhone is in light mode, you will see the selected colored background, but in dark mode, you will see a black background.
If you prefer a combination of the iPhone in dark mode, but with a splash of color as your background, this really comes with its downsides. Apple Pal does not offer the ability to freely set iPhone light mode and dark mode and wallpapers. Today’s change was the first Detected by AR7 on Twitter.
