Inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new California estate

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have bought a beautiful multi-million dollar property in Montecito, California – complete with nine bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, Page Six can discover.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex paid $ 14,650,000 for the 18,000-square-foot home, which features rose gardens, centuries-old olive trees, a tennis court, a tea house, children’s home and a swimming pool.

It also comes complete with a two-bed guest house, perfect for Markle’s mother Doria.

After taking some legal action against photographers for violating their privacy at their LA rental home, there is no way anyone is getting into their new path that is secure and safe.

As we revealed, she plans this to be the perfect family home for her 1-year-old son Archie and all future children.

A source denied that the Sussexes had borrowed the money for their house from Prince Charles, as rumored.

The source stressed: “Meghan and Harry finally feel like they are on their own, and it feels great. They bought this house without the help of his family, they do not use it on loan from a friend as they had before. It’s real to them and they can not wait to make it a home. ”

They moved to Santa Barbara last month after seizing Tyler Perry’s $ 17 million Beverly Hills mansion.

A source told us: “Meghan and Harry were completely blown away by Tyler’s generosity.

“They are so excited to really start living together in California, but they will never forget the kindness he showed them.”

Their new upscale California community is also home to their friends Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.

Too much speculation that the couple would buy a place in Los Angeles, another source said this week: “Harry and Meghan have been living quietly in their own home in Santa Barbara since early July.

‘They are not Oprah’s or anyone else’s owners, they bought this house themselves. This is where they want to continue their life after leaving the UK.

“This is the first house any of them have ever owned. It has been a very special time for her as a couple and as a family – to have six weeks of complete privacy since they moved, ”the source continued.

‘They intend to lay their roots in this house and the quiet community, which has a lot of privacy. This is where they want to bring Archie, where they hope he can have as normal a life as possible. ”

The source added: “Harry and Meghan never intended to make Los Angeles their home. It was a good place for her to be near her arrival in the US to be close to Meghan’s mother [who lives in LA]. ”
