Inside Gigi Hadid’s apartment in New York as a model she prepares to receive the baby with Zayn Malik

Gigi Hadid is preparing to welcome her first child with former One Direction star Zayn Malik.

And the catwalk queen, 25, gave fans a peek at her modern New York apartment, which she recently renovated, on social media over the weekend.

The expectant mother explained that the project took over a year and shared that her famous mother Yolanda was with her every step of the way as she chose how to design the twin bed pad found in the NoHo neighborhood of Manhattan.

From the stunning images, it is clear to see that the cover star is not afraid of color.

Gigi has ensured that her living room is outfitted with a luxurious corner sofa in a mix of shades and textures, including warm orange corduroy, silver velvet, and patterned cushions.

She has scattered various candles throughout the room-giving space, as well as large stacks of books and eclectic touches, such as an ancient Middle Eastern Hamsa Hand amulet that takes center stage at her coffee table.

The walls are painted white and feature warm wood paneling, as well as a trunk and large mural.

Gigi’s kitchen has a luxurious feel to it with white and gold marble countertops and it’s obvious that the beauty loves to cook while piles of cookware and recipe books are on display.

The kitchen island has an unusual feature with windows filled with shiny pasta shapes and another highlight is a large pen statue in the hallway leading to the bathroom.

Gigi has decorated the downstairs bathroom with The New Yorker magazine covers and there is a large mirror illuminated with strip lights.

A brightly patterned rug climbs the stairs leading to her epic beauty parlor and her serene bedroom with white linens and a wooden headboard.

The upstairs bathroom is the best haven with a large tub, shower, and monochromatic marble tile.

Along with the photos from his house, the future star wrote: “I spent all last year designing and curating my passion / dream place project. Of course, it all came together just before I left the quarantined city … but I’m excited for the moment I will spend enjoying all the special corners that were made with the help of some of my favorite creatives (touch!) who accepted my ideas and did not call me crazy. ++ my mom 🙂 who is the best board of sound for the home that I could ask for (she called me crazy when necessary) grateful for and for everyone. “

Gigi announced in April that she was “a few months pregnant.”

Gigi confirmed the exciting news of the baby during a virtual appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show, but has not revealed whether it is a boy or a girl he is expecting.

She said at the time, “Obviously, we wish we had announced it on our own terms, but we are very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s good wishes and support.

“Especially during this time … it is a nice glimmer of hope to be able to be at home and be together and really experience it day by day.”
