Protesters returned late to a U.S. immigration and customs enforcement building in Portland, Oregon, last Thursday for a second consecutive night and confronted law enforcement.

The action follows a protest Wednesday night until early Thursday morning in which protesters clashed with federal agents for the first time since July in a demonstration aimed at the ICE building.

The protesters spray-painted painted windows on the building, smashed several windows and shone laser lights at agents inside – asked local police to explain the incident.

Police arrested two people and several officers suffered minor injuries.

Violent demonstrations have taken place over two months in the largest city in Oregon after the murder of George Floyd police in Minneapolis. On Thursday, police released information showing up in more than 80 nights of protests in Portland authorities declaring more than 17 riots and arresting more than 500 people.
