Infinite demo of Halo has been removed within Halo 5, and you can play it

The Halo Infinite gameplay discovery captured the imagination of many gamers, inspiring guitar covers, video recreation, and a playable version built into Halo 5’s Forge. When we first reported on the latter, it was still in the works – but it’s already complete.

Ducain23, a level creator who said he spent “about 30-40 hours” working on this playable Halo Infinite recreation, has made a complete recreation of the demo, and you can try it for yourself. You can download the level via Halo Waypoint, and Ducain23 also has many other builds on its account.

The creator shows his level in the video below, and talks about the process. There are two versions of the map – an “aesthetic” map that you can explore, and a “race” map, where you do a round and a “round” of the map.

There is also a comparison video, which shows his Forge card against the demo video.

Ducain23 also plans to remake the demo in the level editor of Far Cry 5, which he says is more flexible.

After a delay, Halo Infinite will arrive for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC in 2021.
