In the physical cam video, a police officer shows a black man fatally shot during a mental health check.

Offer Ronaldo Contreras Warren’s family called for psychiatric help after he arrived at Patrick Warren’s home on January 10.

The police department said in a statement that after the officer’s arrival, Warren was “emotionally distressed” and that the newly released body camera showed those stressful moments in which he fired his weapon three times at the Contraras and War Run.

In the video, Contraras is told to “come in” to someone inside, then he can be seen entering the house himself. Warren starts screaming at him and moves towards him then Contraras quickly gets out.

Veran runs towards the officer in front of the yard outside the residence and may disobey verbal orders to put him to sleep. Backward Fischer retreats and continues to issue warnings, such as “You’ll be tormented,” as he uses his teaser.

Vern initially falls down but then stands back and continues to push towards the officer. Contreras uses the teaser again, but Warren moves on and Contreras deploys his weapons.

Vern Run, 52, was rushed to hospital with injuries.

The family lawyer says it was “one of the worst shootings I’ve ever seen.”

Family lawyer Lee Merritt has called for the officer to be fired. “This is one of the worst officer shootings I’ve ever seen,” Merritt told reporters earlier this week after releasing footage from a BD camera, according to KWTX.

Merritt did not return calls from CNN on Thursday and Friday after the footage was released.

According to the Kilten Police Department, the department’s five-year Pte, Contraras is on administrative leave. An investigation is underway by the Texas Rangers, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Bell County District Attorney Henry Garza directed all inquiries to the Texas Rangers.

Police Chief Charles Kimble said this week that Contreras did everything possible to use firearms against Warren before he deployed his weapons.

“I don’t see where he could have done it,” Kimble told reporters Tuesday. I saw an officer trying to handle a call, de-escalating the call.

“Given the similar circumstances, I don’t know what else we can do.”

Kimble said Contrares has at least more than the amount of mandatory training, but he said the police department is looking for ways to better address the call for psychiatry.

On Saturday, January 9, the day before the shooting, the county sent a deputy mental health officer to War Warner’s home. Merritt previously told CNN that the meeting with the county deputy was good. Vern Run voluntarily went to the hospital with his deputy that night but refused to stay in the hospital for further treatment.

The next day when the family was called for a mental health check, the police officer was dispatched. According to Merritt, the family wanted a mental health deputy again instead of a police officer.

Asked why a police officer was stabbed on Sunday, Kimball said the caller was concerned about what he heard over the call from the family.

“It was a call for a mental person,” Kimball said. “But, just as the caller was listening to the caller, if certain things are said, or certain things are heard, he asks for a different response … he responds to the police, and he responds by fire and doctors. Who gave by were standing bha.

CNN has reached out to the Killin Police Personnel Association for comment, but has not yet heard back.
