In the photo: America amid fears of electoral violence

American cities are fed up with violence early tomorrow.

Driving News: Fearing that landmarks, stores and restaurateurs in New York, Washington, DC and other cities are knocking on their doors, Election Day will deal another blow to their businesses, many of which are already plagued by epidemics and damaged by protests.

Why it’s important: The result of an election can cause civil unrest, no matter who wins. People across the country are preparing for the worst.
