“I’ll see him in his garage when we’s done”: drivers roar on the radio in the NASCAR Cup Series Doubleheader near Dover


The NASCAR Cup Series doubleheader weekend at Dover International Speedway set things up very nicely for the final race before the playoffs. Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick shared the loot in two exciting races. Meanwhile, the battle for the final playoff spot comes down to the final day. A three-way collision ensues between Jimmie Johnson, William Byron and Matt DiBenedetto.

As we know, a NASCAR Cup Series race is never short on exciting moments. That was the case this weekend at Dover as well, which was full of moments from two races. FOX: NASCAR has released the reactions of the drivers and their teams recorded on team radio, during such moments.

Busch’s early end, Johnson’s almost crash in NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover

Just before the start of the first race on ‘Monster Mile’, Denny Hamlin’s spotter gave him some advice. “Be smart, race the track all day long,” the spotter for the number 11 car sei over the radio. Hamlin obliged as proved at the end of the race. The race saw its first caution and went away as soon as the 7th lap.

Kurt Busch’s race came to an end after contact with Erik Jones sent him into the wall earlier. ‘Yes, we’re ready. Unbelievable, “ Busch said about the incident. Jones answered him and said, “My bad man, sorry.”

Jimmie Johnson had an almost-crash with Ryan Preece. He swung away just in time to avoid what could have been a major incident. The speed at which he was, he could not see Preece. That prompted Johnson to ask his team, “Oh my God, who the **** that was.”

Stenhouse Jr. not happy with Joey Logano

The fight between Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. took center stage and Hamlin secured the win. ‘Hell yes, DH. You made Miles the Monster temin. Great job guys, ” said Hamlin’s spotter Chris Lambert.

In Sunday’s race, another early incident saw a wreck with multiple cars. It started with Joey Logano vs. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. from behind, who Stenhouse Jr. sent into the wall. “For what it’s worth. The number 22 has apologized,” The spotter from Stenhouse Jr. told him. ‘I do not care. I’ll see him at his garage when we’re ready. ” Answer Stenhouse Jr.

Harvick saw challenges from Truex Jr. and Johnson off to seal a NASCAR Cup Series win Sunday.
